Vision Ministries Purpose

The purpose of Vision Ministries shall be to encourage others through the common bond of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and assist in the leading of souls into saving knowledge of Him.

Vision Ministries of Lawrence County, PA, was born out of inspiration of the Holy Spirit of God in 1996. My wife Janet and I were co-owners of a Christian bookstore called Grand Book and Bible at the time. I certainly knew God had placed a calling on my life, but really didn’t know the details of that calling, until one day all alone in the store. Looking around at the many books, sheet music, and CD’s, the Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and said, so what are you going to do about all this truth, in books, sitting on these shelves? I say, go out and take it to the people, that’s what I have called you to do! So, I put together some by-laws and developed a Constitution, and with the help of a few others, petitioned the I.R.S. for a not-for- profit status and Vision Ministries of Lawrence County, PA came to be. As the ministries Founder and President, I have had great joy serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so glad I answered His call, because it opened other doors to pastor and do the work of an Evangelist. Blessings to all, Randy L. Crum.
